Cummins and Powerstroke Fire Rings

Posted on 29 April 2015

Under moderate to high boost levels, the stock headgaskets can fail and result in costly labor and repair bills.  In some circumstances, the head can warp and crack beyond repair and require purchasing a new head.  The ATS Fire Ring Head program takes your existing heads, inspects them for damage, decks the surface within spec, cuts for fire rings and ships the head(s) back with a new headgasket(s).

We have seen great success from this program for boost levels over 50 PSI, competition use or for those wanting the utmost in reliability.  We have a program setup to arrange pickup of your core head(s) and return to the address you wish.  Contact Street Diesel Power for arranging this service or with questions pertaining to the program.

Visit the Engine Parts section of any 2003-2007 6.0L Powerstroke or 1994-2007 5.9L Cummins on our site for ordering.

Great question! We have several customers use this head to 85-90 PSI.

    Can these handle 80 PSI on a 2001 5.9?
